Abstract

عرفت النخبةالمثقفة في فرنسا عزوفا عن المشاركة في الحياة السياسية، فظلت بعيدة عن الخوض فيها.ولم تشكلهذه الطبقة قوة ضاغطة على السلطة في فرنسا،إلا مع تداعيات قضية ألفرد دريفوس Alfred Drefus الضابط الفرنسي اليهودي، الذي اتهم بالخيانة (1894)، وأثيرت معه قضية معاداة السامية Anti Sémitique، فنزل الأدباء والمفكرون واحتشدوا في ساحة السربون، وحرروا أول بيان في تاريخ الفكر الغربي، عرف باسمهم بيان المثقفينLe Manifeste desIntellectuelles، احتجوا فيه على تجاوز المحاضر القانونية، وطالبوا بمراجعة الحكم الصادر ضد دريفوس، فكان لهم ما طلبوه. فكانت أول مرة يشارك الأدباء والمفكرون في الحياة السياسة العامة . The intellectual elite in France was reluctant to participate in political life and remained far from it. This class did not constitute a force to pressure the authorities in France, except with the repercussions of the case of Alfred Dreyfus, the French Jewish officer, who was accused of treason (1894), and the issue of anti-Semitism was raised with him, so writers and thinkers descended and gathered in the Sorbonne Square, and wrote the first statement on In the history of Western thought, their name was known as the Manifesto of Intellectuals, Le Manifeste des Intellectuelles, in which they protested against the transgression of legal records, and demanded a review of the ruling issued against Dreyfus, and they got what they asked for. It was the first time that writers and thinkers participated in public politics.
