Abstract

أدى ظهور التقنيات الحديثة إلى تأثير كبير على المكتبات والمكتبيين، حيث فرضت عليهم أعباء جديدة تتماشى مع التغيرات الراهنة ،حيث أصبح من الضروري تنمية كوادر المكتبات وتجهيزها بالأدوات اللازمة لتطور المهنة. هذا التطور يمكن المكتبات والمكتبيين من مواجهة التحديات التي فرضتها التقنيات الحديثة. نتيجة لذلك، تحول دور المكتبي من أمين مكتبة إلى أخصائي معلومات، تماشيًا مع متطلبات عصر المعرفة. يقوم أخصائي المعلومات الآن بإدارة البيانات والمعلومات الرقمية، وتوفير الوصول إلى مصادر المعلومات الإلكترونية، وتحليل احتياجات المستفيدين لتقديم خدمات متنوعة وفعالة لذا، يعتبر التطوير المستمر لمهارات أخصائيي المعلومات أمرًا حيويًا لضمان قدرتهم على التكيف مع التغيرات السريعة في مجال التكنولوجيا والمعلومات.The emergence of modern technologies has significantly impacted libraries and librarians, imposing new burdens that align with current changes. It has become necessary to develop library staff and equip them with the tools required for the profession's evolution. This development enables libraries and librarians to face the challenges posed by modern technologies. As a result, the role of the librarian has shifted from being a library custodian to an information specialist, in line with the demands of the knowledge era. Information specialists now manage data and digital information, provide access to electronic information sources, and analyze the needs of users to offer precise and effective services. Therefore, the continuous development of information specialists' skills is vital to ensure their ability to adapt to the rapid changes in the field of technology and information.
