Abstract

This scholarly paper examines the efforts and methodology of Mubarak Al-Mili in using Prophetic Hadiths as evidence, his approach to explaining them, and categorizing them according to the doctrinal topics he addresses in his book "The Treatise on Shirk and Its Manifestations". It elucidates how he applies these Hadiths to the issues he addresses, including superstition, charlatanism, innovations, and various types of Shirk. The paper demonstrates that Sheikh Mubarak Al-Mili has an excellent approach to explaining Hadiths by clarifying obscure terms, translating their meanings, explaining Hadiths by cross-referencing them, compiling evidence for each chapter, and resolving apparent contradictions between reports. Sheikh Mubarak Al-Mili has excelled in using Prophetic Hadiths and Salafic narrations in his book, selecting, compiling, organizing, and categorizing them with precision. He has shown proficiency in quoting from the Imams, deriving meanings, and explaining linguistic, customary, and legal significances from the scriptural evidences.
