. The reform movement avoided politics in its approach, in order to avoid the harassment of the colonial administration, and announced in its programs and newspapers that it was a reformist and civilizing movement that did not delve into political issues, but it found itself facing a colonial situation with politics that penetrated the elements of the community's identity in its religion and language, and despite that, it did not deviate from the reformist approach, including the Al-Islah newspaper of its owner Al-Tayeb Al-Aqbi, which was revived after World War II in 2 circumstances and conditions in which the reform movement knew undeclared divisions, so it was a space that revived the religious and political debate. From what was previously introduced, we ask, what are the religious and political issues that the Al-Islah newspaper discussed?
