من رجالات الإصلاح، الشيخ علي مرحوم: حياته آثاره

Abstract

الشيخ علي مرحوم، أحد رجالات جمعية العلماء المسلمين ، فقد أرتبط بها علما ووجدانا، ولد عام 1913في ولاية جيجل، وتلقى تعليمه على يد السيخ عبد الحميد بن باديس ، مما شكل شخصيته الفكرية والدينية ، أسهم الشيخ علي في نشر التعليم العربي الحر وتعزيز الوطنية ، وبرز ككاتب صحفي نشط في جرائد مثل"البصائر" ، مدافعا عن قضايا الإصلاح ومحاربا للبدع والاستعمار .كما كان داعما للثورة الجزائرية ، فقد كان المشرف على صوت الجزائر من إذاعه المغرب في طنجة وهو الأوائل الذين أسسوا لمؤتمر طنجة مع علال الفاسي وبورقيبة لمنظمة المغرب العربي فقد كان رئيس الوفد وممثل الجزائر الرسمي أما بعد الاستقلال ، فقد واصل اسهاماته في التعليم والتفتيش ، وترك إرثا فكريا غنيا يشمل مقالات ومؤلفات عن قضايا الاصلاح وذكرياته مع الثورة .توفي عام 1984، لكنه بقي رمزا للعطاء الوطني والفكري ، يستلهم منه أجيال اليوم heikh Ali Marhoum, one of the prominent figures of the Association of Muslim Scholars, was deeply connected to it both intellectually and emotionally. Born in 1913 in Jijel Province, he received his education under Sheikh Abdelhamid Ben Badis, which greatly influenced his intellectual and religious character. Sheikh Ali played a vital role in promoting free Arabic education and strengthening national identity. He distinguished himself as anactive journalist in newspapers such as AlBasaer and Al-Shihab, where he defended reformist causes, opposed superstitions, and resisted colonialism. Additionally, Sheikh Ali supported the Algerian Revolution and supervised The Voice of Algeria broadcast from Radio Morocco in Tangier. He was among the founders of the Tangier Conference alongside Allal El Fassi and Habib Bourguiba, serving as the head of the delegation and Algeria’s official representative in establishing the Maghreb Organization. After independence, he continued his contributions to education and inspection, leaving behind a rich intellectual legacy that includes articles, writings on reform issues, and memoirs of the revolution. Sheikh Ali Marhoum passed away in 1984 but remains a symbol of national and intellectual dedication, inspiring future generations.
